How do I install the Classroom?

 

To open Zoom on your computer:

1. Click to open your classroom from the portal. 

2. A download will start automatically for Zoom. (You will see a window that is loading and has a message "Your meeting will begin soon." Make sure to allow the app to have access to run. 

3. Zoom will open and you can test your speaker and microphone. You can either join by a Phone Call or using your Computer Audio. Computer Audio would be best. 

4. You should be in your meeting now.

 

To open Zoom on a mobile device or tablet:

1. Make sure you have the app downloaded on your mobile device or tablet. (Apple Store or Google Play Store will have the app. Just type in Zoom.)

2. Click to open your classroom from the portal. 

3. Once the meeting opens in the Zoom app, be sure to allow the access for microphone and video. You will also need to either dial in or call using internet audio to be able to hear others. If you click on "dial in" you will be given a phone number to call. If you call using the internet audio, you will just use your phone's microphone and your data. It would be best for your device to be connected to wifi or have unlimited data. 

4. You should be in your meeting now.
